Time flies. One moment, you’re cradling a precious newborn in your arms, and the next thing you know, you’re watching him smash his first birthday cake. Your stomach is full of butterflies before you walk down the aisle, and then you’re waking up next to your spouse of five years.
So often our memories are tied to photographs—seeing a picture can remind you of just how you felt at the moment it was taken. The years melt away and suddenly you remember how your toddler’s hand felt in your own, or how head-over-heels you were about your spouse as you planned your wedding.
My photography is a balance of documentation and art; I love preserving the moments that will one day become fond memories. I enjoy photographing babies, children, moms-to-be, couples, and families, as well as weddings and other events.
I live in Asheville with my wife and two sons.
